An agreement is signed with the United Nations Development Program to promote joint projects dedicated to achieving the 17 SDGs in emerging economies and developing countries

CDP's commitment to sustainable development continues. An agreement has been signed with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to identify joint cooperation programs and promote projects dedicated to achieving the 17 SDGs. The UN's development program, UNDP is active in 170 countries and states with the aim of eradicating poverty and reducing inequality.
The agreement will allow for the development of initiatives to promote economic and social growth and combat climate change and poverty in emerging and developing economies. The CDP and UNDP partnership is also fundamental in strengthening working synergy and know-how sharing, encouraging skills development through projects dedicated to valuing human capital, such as training programs and shared professional experiences. This agreement highlights CDP's international strategy, which is committed to the promotion and financing of public-private investments to achieve the 17 SDGs, fully supported by the UNDP's international presence and its central guiding role on the 2030 agenda for sustainable development.
The agreement between CDP and UNDP was signed after the inauguration of the African Climate and Sustainable Development Centre, set up with an agreement between the Italian Ministry of the Environment, FAO and UNDP to promote information exchange between G7 countries on initiatives in Africa, to strengthen projects that support sustainable development in Africa.
